Stampede western silkscreens

DUNCE EDITIONS | SUMMER 2026

A new series of large-scale silkscreen paintings inspired by the mythology of the American West.

Using imagery from old Hollywood westerns, these works explore the stories, symbols and nostalgia that have shaped our idea of the West. Familiar images of cowboys, landscapes and cultural icons are revisited through a contemporary lens, questioning the myths we inherit and the stories we continue to tell.

Each piece is created by hand in my Calgary studio, combining silkscreen, acrylic and spray paint. The process embraces the imperfections of the medium — ink variation, texture and the physical qualities that make every work unique.
